Haiga - a traditional Japanese art form originally combining haiku poetry with the spontaneously wielded sumi-ink brush - today, with options beyond the traditional sumi painting style, haiku are often combined with photography and mixed media techniques - all art works, ink brush calligraphy, photography you see here are my own creations; I do, however, use verses by famous Japanese and Chinese poets, which I then script in various traditional script styles, including the old henteigana script style out of use since the turn of the previous century -
